Since 2007, Balkongföreningen has developed an industry standard for the installation of railings, balconies and balcony glazing in residential buildings. We work to raise safety and quality across the whole industry through shared guidelines and by sharing what we know.
By bringing together several of the industry's leading companies, we help shape regulation and maintain a dialogue with the authorities. At the same time we spread knowledge that reduces the risk of incorrect or inadequate solutions in construction projects.
Membership rests on clear requirements and an active commitment. Member companies and their subcontractors work to shared, normative methods and material choices, to secure the highest possible quality in the industry.

Balkongföreningen offers support and expertise in projects involving new build and renovation of balconies. That may mean advice on procurement and design, or support during inspections and technical checks.
